First Recovery announced as a finalist for the Developing Resilience Award at the BITC Responsible Business Awards 2019

We’ve been having to keep some exciting news secret for over a month now at First Recovery. In March we were told that we’d been shortlisted for the Barclays Developing Resilience Award as part of the BITC’s Responsible Business Awards 2019.

On 28 March, our Managing Director, Paul Jackson, visited Barclays’ HQ in London to deliver a presentation to the judging panel. He explained how First Recovery are a disaster recovery specialist, supporting small and medium sized businesses in their hours of crisis when disaster hits. With the help of First Recovery, the beleaguered businesses are able to get back up on their feet quickly, presenting a “business as usual” face to the outside world.

Given the vital role that First Recovery play in the business world, it’s no wonder we were awarded Responsible Business Award Finalist status for the Developing Resilience Award. We have rescued so many companies over the years, enabling them to continue in business, when without our help, they may have failed.

In the words of Barclays and the BITC, First Recovery has demonstrated significant impact in addressing societal and workplace challenges – permission granted to shout out proudly of this achievement! We are thrilled that our good practice has been recognised in such a way.

The final winner of the award will be announced on 9 July so watch this space to find out the final outcome. In the meantime, if you run your own small business or SME and are keen to develop your business resilience why not get in touch with the team at First Recovery to find out more about the service we offer?
