Effective 1st December 2010 First Recovery Ltd will be providing its emergency disaster recovery services to selected SME clients within the Amlin UK Ltd portfolio.

David Hancock – Leading Class Underwriter, Property and Package at Amlin UK says “We are delighted to announce our partnership with First Recovery which will see initially, selected clients and brokers within our SME customer base able to benefit from the critical business continuity services First Recovery provide in the event of a disaster.” “Our smaller customers typically don’t have the resources to help themselves when disaster strikes so they should find the service invaluable should their business premises suffer a disaster.”

Mike Calloway, director at First Recovery says “Competition in the SME sector is fierce and the differentiation our product provides to our partners is allowing them to both win more new business and retain more existing business. Brokers working with our insurer partners are also enjoying the same benefits as a result of being able to bring a new and valued service to their SME clients at inception or renewal.” “We’re delighted to be working with Amlin UK and look forward to helping them achieve their goals in the SME sector”

BIBA Exhibition 2010

May 19th - 20th, ExCel London

Now the dust has settled after the BIBA conference and exhibition at the Excel Centre we were delighted with the interest shown by many of the attending brokers in the launch of our new Broker Edition product. The feedback received relating to the new service was most encouraging and we look forward to working with those brokers that recognize the unique benefits our product provides for both their clients and themselves.

Many visitors we spoke to were impressed with the impact our stand made and paid us some unprompted complements which are always rewarding to receive. We did have hopes of perhaps picking up the award for the best ‘small stand’ but sadly we lost out to Travelers Insurance Company who took the prize for the second year running.
